DO NOT ADJUST YOUR MONITOR!

Or stand on your head.  Wedding photographer Lev Kuperman shared with us his interpretation of Onteora, and gave us a new perspective on ourselves.

You can see more of his work, some of it upright,  Here.

HIGH FASHION HITS THE CATSKILLS

Finally that Cosmo shoot that invaded Onteora in May has arrived on the stands.  The cover, believe it or not, was shot in our wedding pavilion, which was converted into a full-fledged photo studio.

Look inside the magazine for pictures of Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev vamping it up at our appropriately spooky fish pond, and posing dramatically in front of our mountain view.

A RAINY SPRING MADE FOR LUSH JUNE WEDDINGS

Here's two shots from last June's wedding.

The photography was done by Ananda Lima, a lady new to us, and we thank her for sharing her work. More can be found Here.

Jodi and Kelley were the first bridal couple to inaugurate the newly- renovated Mombaccus Room. Notice how we improved the view!

Huffington Post Names Onteora "One of the best" in the Hudson Valley

Ecumenical minister and wedding ceremony authority Rev. Judith Johnson paid Onteora a big compliment in her recent articles in the Huffington Post.

In her first posting she listed Onteora as "One of the top 5 ceremony locations in the Hudson Valley."

She went on to write:
"Outdoor ceremonies typically take place on the 90-foot deck overlooking the majesty of the mountains. A new indoor dining room with ceiling to floor windows is the perfect setting for indoor ceremonies."

In her second posting, she interviewed Manager Jeremy Hudler concerning his advice to couples about their ceremonies: "be calm, be yourself, be with each other, and have fun."

Part 1 can be found HERE.

Part 2 HERE.
